Located in the historic Velvet Mill, we were originally two separate spaces. Masa opened in March 2024 as a Latin deli specializing in handcrafted sandwiches and empanadas. Meryl Bakery opened next door in late 2024 offering sourdough breads and pastries, baked fresh daily. After operating as separate entities for several months, it made more sense to combine efforts and knock down the wall separating the two.

As Meryl + Masa, we are committed to delivering products that are made by hand, with intention and mindfulness. Our menu is a sum of both original spaces: a latin vibe meets a European influence. Sourdough bakery meets latin street food. Empanadas and tamales sit next to baguettes and croissants. A little bit of something for everyone. We hope you will enjoy.
